Defender Bacary Sagna has admitted that Manchester City's players will be to blame if the English side fails to qualify for next year's Champions League.

Pellegrini's men recently have been delivering poor performances, as they have only won once in their last four Premier League matches. However, with the 2015/2016 campaign coming to an end, the Citizens must maintain their fourth spot to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.

Louis Van Gaal's Manchester United are breathing down the Sky Blue's neck in the standings, as they are only two points away from clinching the fourth position on the table. If the Red Devils win their remaining two league fixtures, City will drop out of the top four.

Speaking to the press conference, the French international believes his team deserves the European qualification for the upcoming season.

"We had everything in our hands to be the best if we play like we did against Arsenal we are the best team, but we have to play like this all season."

"We deserve it. We gave it a lot. Of course, we are not perfect, of course, we could have done better, but we deserve to be in the Champions League places."

If Manchester United win their game in hand against West Ham at the Upton Park this Tuesday, then Manchester City will be instantly dropped to the fifth position before they travel to the Liberty Stadium ahead of their last clash of the season against Swansea on Sunday.

Will Aguero and Co. survive in the top four of the English Premier League, or will the Red Devils snatch their spot for European qualification?
