In the first leg of the 2015 Spanish Super Cup, San Jose stunned every single spectactor with a 40-yard volley to put Athletic Bilbao 1-0 up at home to recently-crowned UEFA Super Cup winners Barcelona.
In the 13th minute, Ter Stegen made a daring clearance of the ball with a header but the gesture came back to haunt him. The ball fell straight to San Jose who perfectly calculated his shot to drive it past the goal line and into the net.
