After last week's games, things got closer on top of the Clausura 2015 tournament, while the relegation standings saw ithe last team change for the first time in a while. Week 11 of the Mexican top flight will deliver interesting games for fans to watch, such as Club America's visit to Veracruz, Tijuana's game in Mexico City against Cruz Azul, and Chivas' still trying to avoid any surprises when they host Toluca on Sunday. Here you have the preview for this week's most relevant games.
Veracruz vs America: two top-seeded teams fight for the tournament's second place.
Los Tiburones Rojos suffered a huge blow to their expectations after losing last week against Tijuana with a 3-1 score, and the chance to bounce back against Club America will come on Friday. Coach Carlos Reinoso, one of America's most beloved players historically, will try to defeat Las Aguilas once again, after failed attempts with former clubs Queretaro and San Luis. On the other hand, Matosas' crew gets to this match broken-hearted after their 3-0 defeat against Herediano in the CONCACAF Champions League. The yellow outfit will have Dario Benedetto available once again, something that will boost the team's scoring chances.

Cruz Azul vs Tijuana: Los Xolos will try to win their first game ever against Cruz Azul
Tijuana's first place is secure for at least a week, but they will try to confirm their top form when they visit Mexico City to face Cruz Azul. La Maquina lost the lead in their two most recent games, causing infuriated fans to storm into their training session demanding coach Luis Fernando Tena's resignation. While star signing Roque Santa Cruz has failed to score his first goal with Los Celestes, Tijuana will try to take advantage of their hosts' complicated moment to win their first match against them. Los Xolos are the top scoring team in Mexico, and this should come in handy against Cruz Azul, who has won three games and drawn four when facing The Dogs.
Roque Santa Cruz missed a penalty kick against Leon last week, and desperately needs a goal to justify his multi-million dollar deal with La Maquina.
Chivas vs Toluca: El Rebaño wants to forget about their relegation problems once and for all.
Guadalajara's nail bitter against Puebla last week raised their hopes to keep their place among top flight teams next season, and Jose Manuel De la Torre's men will try to keep their momentum going when they host Toluca on Sunday evening. Chivas has always struggled to defeat Los Diablos Rojos, who need a victory to revamp their up and coming season under coach Jose Cardozo.
