We are eight games into the new Premier League season and things are already getting excited. After Matchweek 8 in the English top-flight, we now have a three-way tie at the top of the table, with only goal difference separating Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool.
Things could have been different, but the Citizens and the Reds played out a drab 0-0 draw on Sunday. Elsewhere, Arsenal leapfrogged Tottenham into the top four courtesy of their 5-1 win over Fulham while Man United came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at home against Newcastle.

1. The one positive from the goalless draw at Anfield
Liverpool vs Man City was tipped to be the most exciting game of the season. In the end, all it did was disappoint the fans. Zero goals from two of the best attacking teams in England was frustrating.
However, there was one positive. Since both sides left Anfield with their unbeaten run intact, this season has entered the record books.
3 - With Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City all yet to suffer a league defeat this term, this is just the second time in Premier League history that as many as three teams have gone unbeaten in their opening eight games of a single season (also 2011-12). Race.

2. Eden Hazard outscoring five EPL sides
Chelsea won 3-0 at Southampton on Sunday, with Hazard breaking the deadlock to take his Premier League goalscoring tally this season to seven. This means that he alone has found the back of the net more times than Crystal Palace, Southampton, Huddersfield, Newcastle, and Cardiff in 2018/19.
3. Ramsey and Aubameyang make history
In Arsenal's 5-1 win over Fulham, Ramsey scored one and assisted another while Aubameyang scored two and came away with an assist as well. What makes this remarkable is that both of them came off the bench in the second half to do so, making Premier League history.

4. Speaking of Arsenal's 5-1 win
The Sunday win at Craven Cottage saw the Gunners and their manager set a number of feats. Not only did the north London side become the second club in the Premier League to reach 550 wins in that game, it saw Emery reach six consecutive English top-flight wins in a row way quicker than Wenger, though the Frenchman achieved this feat a record 13 times.

5. Mourinho reaches landmark win at Old Trafford
What a comeback that was. After going 2-0 down before half-time, Man United scored three second-half goals, with the winner coming right before the final whistle, to earn an unforgettable victory.
And for Mourinho, it was a special game. That result took his tally to 400 wins in his managerial career.
6. Mourinho now boasts the best wins ratio at Old Trafford
A lot has been said of Mourinho recently amid the club's recent struggles. He is heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit, but his win ratio at Old Trafford might shine a positive light on his Red Devils reign.

What exciting games are in store for the next round?
With the international break on the horizon, action in the Premier League will resume on October 20. Chelsea will kick Matchweek 9 off with a highly-anticipated trip to Mourinho's Man United. Elsewhere, Tottenham will travel to the Olympic Stadium to face West Ham while Arsenal will host Leicester.
