England will need just a single point against Montenegro to win Group G tonight. They may as well have it without sweating too much.
Second-placed Montenegro must reduce a 6-point gap in 2 matches in order to stun the Three Lions at the top of the table. But it seems like new manager Branko Brnovic has settled his targets to finishing as runners-up above genuine contenders Switzerland.

The latter will host Montenegro in Basel next Tuesday in what should be a playoff tickets decider. Considering the importance of his side’s very last encounter of the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, Branko revealed his plans to reporters:

“I will rest Milan Jovanovic, Nikola Drincic and Marko Basa who will play against Switzerland. I am forced to do these changes because I can't risk all eight players being suspended for the last game.

“It's something I have to do. But I strongly believe in the team I'm putting out against England. If we knew the Swiss would definitely not win in Wales, I'd put out the team England might expect.

“My team players are pros. The only thing I'd insist is that they don't get a yellow card for anything stupid. Our goal is to get positive results from both games.”

Whereas Branko Brnovic is trying to making things happen for Montenegro, England could take their chances tonight and sail onto an easy victory against the home side’s weakened team.
