The Reds are yet to win a Premier League game in 2023, and the German boss is not taking criticism as he did back when things went swimmingly for his team.

Apparently, Jürgen Klopp has become tired of some journalists' work, up to the point where he decided to snub the question by a reporter in particular...only to have one of his colleagues repeating the question so he could give a detailed answer.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, the Reds' boss refused to answer a question by James Pearce, one of the reporters covering Liverpool's daily activity and who, according to Klopp, has been too critical of the team's shameful display this season.

Pearce's question was followed by a strange reply from Klopp, who told him he would not be answering his inquiry due to his "recent articles" and "for everything he had wrote" against his team.

Klopp's feelings against the reporter may be well-founded, but it seems that the coach is not hitting the nail on its head during the start of the year. In 2023, Liverpool have only been able to win once, and to make things even more complicated, the Reds are now eleven points away from the relegation zone, the same distance for them to overcome if they wanted to earn a spot in next year's UEFA Champions League.
