Firpo was unhappy with the club's misfiring attack, claiming they need

Barcelona's final game of 2020 best summarized their entire year, with the Catalan giants' 1-1 draw with Eibar best described as a complete and utter disappointment. The Blaugrana hosted the relegation-battling side at Camp Nou, heading into this fixture on the back of promising form, but were forced to settle for a point.

The Catalan giants were the ones who went a goal down first, conceding to the visitors courtesy of a 57th-minute Kike strike. This came after the home side squandered several opportunities to go ahead, including a first-half penalty which Martin Braithwaite missed.

Ousmane Dembele, fortunately, equalized for Koeman's side 10 minutes after conceding, with the goal being set up by Junior Firpo. The score line remained this way until the final whistle, leaving Barcelona in sixth, seven points behind league leaders Atletico Madrid.

Speaking after the game, Firpo could not hold back his frustration with Tuesday's performance, throwing a jibe at his own team's attack, saying (as per the Daily Mail): "We need a thousand chances to score,' Barca defender Junior said after the game.

"They [Eibar] had one clear chance and scored."

"It's the trend of the season. The games are tough and it's all uphill," the fullback added.

Firpo wasn't the only one upset with the performance as club captain Lionel Messi could be seen shaking his head from the stands. The Argentine was left out of the squad due to an ankle issue, meaning he could only helplessly watch on as his side dropped further behind in the title race.
