Zinedine Zidane is one of the most successful coaches in UEFA Champions League history, but not even him was able to turn things around for Los Blancos against Manchester City.
To make matter worse, Zidane's "good luck charm" was not enough to see the Spanish giants claim a spot in the next round. Zidane was unable to win any of the two games of this series, and thus saw his unbeaten streak in KO games of the tournament coming to an end.

Not only that, but it also happens that Zidane saw an even longer streak without having to watch the end of the UEFA Champions League at home either as a player or as an assistant.
Zinedine Zidane is knocked out of the Champions League for the first time as player or manager since Arsenal beat Real Madrid 1-0 on aggregate in 2006.
