USWNT players knew that their actions would raise more awareness about the sexist arguments found in the USSF equal-pay lawsuit case filings and inspire people to not let negative forces bring them down. But they probably did not know that their protest would reciprocate a logo that speaks millions of voices in the women’s soccer community around the world.
The decision of wearing the warm-up jerseys inside out before the SheBelieves Cup final match against Japan indirectly created a logo that represents much more than a nation, but everyone who has been discriminated against. This was the result:

It is almost unbelievable that just wearing a training jersey inside out would result in such a powerful message. The four stars shine bright while the blue, red and white remain hidden. It could not have been embroidered any better for the occasion.
The white and black logo surfaced on March 11, the day of the protest, and it has taken over the WoSo community on twitter.
Women’s Soccer response
The women’s soccer community never fails to back the USWNT equal pay efforts and they have showed-up once again.
On the eve of the SheBelieves Cup final match, the equal-pay logo began circulating in social media and even Meg Linehan was amazed at how fast it all happened.

A multitude of users has made the logo their profile picture to raise awareness and represent what they stand for.
The U.S. Women’s National Team Players Association was qick to react and worked with BreakingT to give fans what they wanted.
