The bianconeri side has already placed the footballer in quarantine after the result was confirmed.

Earlier today, a Bundesliga player had tested positive for coronavirus. Sadly, he is no longer alone in that department, as Italian defender Daniele Rugani has been diagnosed with the disease after being tested by the club.

The bianconeri side issued the report in a short press release.

"The footballer, Daniele Rugani has tested positive for Coronavirus-COVID-19 and is currently asymptomatic. Juventus Football Club is currently activating all the isolation procedures required by law, including those who have had contact with him," the document posted on the team's website states.

Italy is the European country with the highest number of coronavirus cases. This decision comes just days after all Serie A games were suspended until April 3 to prevent the further spread of this disease.
