Messi had already scored a hat-trick before, but he hadn't done so to end a goalscoring drought of four games. The Argentine ace had spent almost 400 minutes without scoring in La Liga, but he found the back of the net three times in the first 40 minutes against Eibar.
While Messi had already scored a first-half hat-trick, he managed to re-write his record sheet with his performance today.
