Turkish giants Galatasary host Astana for their final Champions Champions league fixture in Group C.

Ahead of this crucial fixture, the Turkish giants know very well that they only need a draw to qualify for the Europa league. Galatasaray’s head coach Mustafa Denizli, who replaced Hamza Hamzaoglu last month, will be looking to steer his new club to European success.

On Friday, his side dismissed Bursaspor 3-0 at home to break their five-game winless run and hand Denizli his first win for the club this season. They will be hoping to repeat the same performance against Astana in order to book their place in Europa League.

The statistics also favour Denizli’s men; they have only lost six of their last 23 matches at home in the Champions League and Europa League. However, they should not expect a field day since Astana are expected to approach this fixture will renewed confidence after successfully defending their Kazakh league title
