...and how they're shaping up in the Western Conference

Preview: What's happening in round 11 of the 2022 MLS season

The upcoming matchday kicks off with a clash featuring Toronto and Orlando City. The hosts come into this match in absolutely horrible form, with four consecutive losses seeing them just slightly above the bottom two sides in the Eastern Conference. Unlike European football, American sports have no relegation, and that means, regardless of how Toronto fare this season, they will still be featuring in MLS next term. That being said, the Reds will be hoping to rebound here, ableit they haven't beaten the Lions since 2019, and will hope the face that they're playing at home could help them pick up some much wanted points.

Elsewhere, Chicago Fire, who've also had a terrible start to the 2022 season, will look to finally get out of their funk when they host Cincinnati this weekend. While Chicago sit bottom of the table in last spot in the Eastern Conference with just one point from their last five, Cincinnati will be full of confidence after a solid start that has seen them recover from a slight bump to pick up three wins on the trot.

Atlanta United came out on top in their battle with Chicago Fire last time out, and now they'll hope to use that as a springboard when they host New England Revolution over the weekend. Can the hosts make it back to back wins against an opponent who has struggled to achieve some consistency as of late?

Three consecutive draws have cost Philadelphia Union dearly. While they're still on top of the table, they surely are now looking over their shoulders with a host of teams on their tails in the Eastern Conference, including New York Red Bulls, Montreal, Orlando City, and even Cincinnati. Certainly, they'll look to exploit Inter Miami's recent downturn in form, as the visitors will come into this game having lost their last two games.
