Summer Transfers 2019-20: Deadline dates for the world's top leagues

The summer transfer window is in full motion, but there are some fans who are not sure when the window will close this summer.

All hell broke loose when the English Premier League decided to end their transfer activity one day before the beginning of their games, leaving all European teams with an extended period of time to sign more footballers -even from the EPL-.

With that in mind, most top European leagues will put an end to their transfer activity on September 2, rather than closing the summer transfer window on the last day of August. Since August 31 falls on a Saturday, UEFA teams agreed to extend the transfer deadline to the second day of September.
