Gianluigi Buffon's return to Juventus raised a few eyebrows, especially since Wojciech Szczesny did a good job last season as the team's No.1 goalkeeper. While the legendary shot-stopper seems headed to play a secondary role with the bianconeri, he is making Maurizio Sarri's decision a bit more complicated with performances such as the one he put up today against Inter.
Buffon played the second half of the game between Juve and Inter, where the bianconeri managed to draw after ninety minutes. The real show came when both teams were forced to enter a PK showdown, and Buffon stepped up to lead Juve to the victory.
The 41-year-old goalkeeper stopped the spot kicks taken by Andrea Ranocchia, Samuele Longo and Borja Valero to help Juve in their effort to win this International Champions Cup, which will surely increase his chances of landing a regular spot in Maurizio Sarri's lineup.
Here's how Buffon stole the show for Juventus in their second International Champions Cup clash this summer (Image might be geo-restricted).
