Rudi Garcia’s AS Roma will be hoping to maintain their win streak when they make a visit to Stadio Olimpico, to face 12th placed Torino on Sunday, the 3rd of November 2013.

AS Roma will look to extend their record-breaking winning start in the Serie A to 11 matches away to Torino on November 3, 2013.Preview: Record breaking Roma poised to continue their perfect start

Marco Borriello’s winner against Chievo in their last outing resulted in Rudi Garcia’s men entering the record books after being the first club in Italy’s top flight football to have won all of their opening ten games. Their French tactician has lauded his players and has labelled them as magicians for their fine display this season.

"People are saying there are magicians that help us win? I have all the magicians right here, from the goalkeeper to the captain," the Frenchman said at a press conference.

"I have a magic roster, and on Thursday as well we saw the strength of this team. Everyone here wants to win and play well on the field. That’s the real magic."

However Garcia once again warned his players not to get ahead of themselves and insisted that they focus on their subsequent match against Torino.

“This is a fantastic streak for us, but we don’t have time to enjoy it too much and we have one day less than Torino to prepare for Sunday’s match, so every minute is important to recover and prepare."

A win on Sunday will help Roma maintain their five point lead over Juventus and Napoli, both of whom are on 28 points having played a game more than the Yellow-Reds.

Whereas Roma have arguably the best defence in Europe having conceded just a single goal in the ten games they have played so far, their attack has suffered due to the absence of talismanic captain Francesco Totti and summer signing Gervinho.

Roma have however still managed to score goals in the absence of the formidable duo, but Rudi Garcia will be hoping for more goals from 31 year old Marco Borriello who is expected to lead the line again for Roma.

The Italian expressed his delight having scored the decisive goal against Chievo last time out but also hailed the importance of having Totti in the side.

"I scored the decisive goal tonight, but Francesco is the added bonus. When he's here, the team plays better – we have to be honest," Borriello said.

Torino come into this game at the back of a 3-3 draw on Wednesday against Livorno, the draw was their fourth in the last six games, furthermore Il Toro have not recorded a victory since their 2-1 win against Bologna on the 22nd of September.

Roma will however have to be wary of Torino’s performance against the big clubs this season. Giampiero Ventura were impressive against San Siro outfits Inter and AC Milan holding both the Italian giants to draws. With Torino hosting Roma at home, La Maggica will have to be cautious to avoid their winning streak coming to an end against a team which can hardly be regarded as a top side.
