Maurizio Sarri's press conference ahead of the team's second International Champions Cup match saw the Italian manager step up and deny claims about a rift between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The incident took place during Sunday's clash against Tottenham; as Sarri subbed Cristiano Ronaldo off the pitch, the two men seemed to enter a heated exchange, with the Portuguese footballer walking away from his boss as Sarri spoke to him.
The Italian boss addressed the issue during the pre-match presser against Inter, putting to rest all rumors about a possible spat.
"I just asked him how he felt. He was supposed to play less minutes than those he had that day. He just told me he felt fine," Sarri said.

Sarri went on to reveal how he plans to build his lineup around the footballer and his skills.
"We plan to use Cristiano on the left flank for the first part of the season, where he's had his best performances. We know that he can make a difference there, he has shown that throughout his career. The other ten players will have to play accordingly," the coach added.
After losing their first match in the International Champions Cup, Juventus' boss might opt to introduce some changes to his lineup. Some players, such as Paulo Dybala and Blaise Matuidi, seem to be locks on the team's lineup. The Italian tactician refused to share if he will field CR7 on Wednesday's clash, but judging by his words, he might just give his best player some time on the pitch.
