All pots were decided according to FIFA's most recent ranking. The top four teams (Mexico, the USMNT, Costa Rica, and Honduras) were named as group seeds ahead of the draw. This will be a special CONCACAF Gold Cup, as three nations will co-host the tournament for the first time in history. Costa Rica and Jamaica will each host two games, while the rest of the games are scheduled to be played in the United States.
