Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez has reached personal terms with Serie A club Inter Milan ahead of a potential transfer. The 30-year-old Chilean international has reportedly agreed to follow former teammate Romelu Lukaku to the Nerazzurri after failing to impress since his arrival at Old Trafford.
Sanchez joined the Red Devils in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan join Arsenal in the winter transfer window of 2018. However, despite becoming the club's highest-paid player, the attacker has hardly hit a consistent form with the struggles of the Old Trafford outfit refusing to go away. With his wages slated around £400,000-a-week, he has managed just five league goals in his spell.
As a result, Sanchez has frequently been linked with a move away with Manchester United said to be willing to cut their losses should the right offer arrive. Upon returning from this summer's Copa America with Chile, the former Arsenal and Barcelona has been placed on a special programme in order to get up to gear and join the first team for the new season.
As per Sky Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio on Saturday evening, the 30-year-old forward has agreed to move to Inter Milan and is aiming to get the deal completed before the summer transfer window shuts in Italy. His agent is believed to be in England with an offer from Inter to United.

In order not to breach FFP regulations, the Serie A club is reportedly aiming to secure an initial loan deal for Sanchez with the obligation to buy him at the end of the season. Prior to the closure of the summer transfer window in England, Antonio Conte's side secured the service of Manchester United's Romelu Lukaku in a deal worth a reported $90 million (£74 million).
