Tottenham kicked off the latest round in the Premier League, welcoming Wolves in Saturday's earliest fixture.
What unfolded in this clash was an interesting 90 minutes of football, with the north London giants and the Midlands outfit. Spurs were eager to win this fixture as a victory would have temporarily taken them to the top of the table, but in the first half, Conte's men struggled as Bruno Lage's side.
The home side struggled to create and were unable to maintain possession over the visitors and were the disappointing team come half time. However, things quickly changed after the break, with Harry Kane and Heung-min Son getting on the end of brilliant opportunities, with both hitting the crossbar.
Nonetheless, Tottenham found the goal they needed, and to no one's surprise, the breakthrough come from their main man: Kane. The English superstar scored a header courtesy of a well-worked 64th-minute corner kick, with the Three Lions captain getting away from his marker to get on the end of Ivan Perisic's flick.
And just like that, the nerves and frustration in the stadium went away, but that wasn't all Hary Kane's goal achieved. The 29-year-old wrote his name in history with that effort, surpassing an impressive feat reached by one of the Premier League's finest strikers in history.
That man is none other than Man City icon Sergio Aguero. The Argentine held the record for most goals scored by a single player for a single club, which stood at 184. However, Kane has now surpassed the legendary Kun as that strike against Wolves was his 185th for Spurs.

And that's not all. Kane also leapfrogged the Argentine into fourth spot in the Premier League's list of all-time top scorers. Additionally, that was his 250th goal for the club overall across all competitions and was the club's 1000th home goal in the Premier League.

Ultimately, what will matter most is the three points. Spurs finished in the top four last season, and after their hefty summer spending spree, Conte will be targeting UEFA Champions League berth once more and a silverware or two this term.
