Edin Dzeko and Henrik Mkhitaryan have entered the Champions League's record books following the contribution in Wednesday night's UEFA Champions League's Derby della Madonnina. The two players scored in quick succession to hand the Nerazzuri a crucial first-half lead in the semi-final first leg encounter.
In what was the first Champions League Milan derby since 2005, it was the men in blue and black who took the lead inside the first eight minutes of the proceedings. As Hakan Calhanoglu's corner came in, Edin Dzeko looked like he had been covered by Milan captain Davide Calabria but the veteran striker managed to smash home a volley into the top corner with a brilliant technique.
