Thomas "Hashtag Tom" Leese has been crowned as the new champion of the ePremier League. The representative of relegated Premier League club Watford beat his challenger Marc "MarcMarleyyy" Marley of Bournemouth via a 2-1 aggregate scoreline to emerge as the winner in the cross-console grand finale.
Earlier, Marc Marley defied odds to book a place for the ultimate showdown with a 5-3 aggregate win over former champion and the tournament's favorite Donovan "Fnatic Tekkz" Hunt of Liverpool in the ePL Xbox Final. Relatively, Hashtag Tom defeated Kyle "Hammond" Hammond in the ePL PlayStation Final via a 5-1 aggregate win.

With the die cast, the battle to determine the ultimate king of the consoles began with Hashtag Tom running away with a first-leg win on his favored Playstation. The representative of Watford, who is ranked No. 3 in the world, took the advantage thanks to Roberto Firmino's lone-goal.
On his less preferred Xbox One console, HashTag Tom further stamped his dominance by taking the lead through Paul Pogba in the 37th minute. The opportunity to seal the win subsequently came through a penalty decision by the king of PlayStation 4 saw Trezeguet's attempt being saved by Marc Marleyyy's Nick Pope.

The 2-1 final scoreline meant that Thomas "Hashtag Tom" Leese had secured £20,000 ($26,702) in prize money, with Marley winning £10,000 ($13,351). Donovan "Fnatic Tekkz" Hunt and Kyle "Hammond" Hammond, who successively lost the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 finals took home £5,000 ($6,675) apiece.
