How to watch Matchday 19 in the 2023 MLS season

In the Eastern Conference, Cincinnati have started to steal a march on the chasing pack, with an eight point lead between themselves and everyone else. However, they will not be in action this weekend, meaning that second-placed Nashville could close the gap to five points if they can defeat Western Conference leaders St. Louis in what should be a very interesting tie.

Meanwhile, Columbus Crew, who are on a three-game winning streak, will hope to extend that run to four when they travel to face a New York City side who are winless in their last five.

Other games taking place on Saturday include DC United vs. Real Salt Lake, New England vs. Orlando City, Sporting Kansas vs. Los Angeles FC, and San Jose Earthquakes vs. Portland Timbers.

Some fans, especially those in the USA and Canada, will be able to follow some of these games on TV. However, for those who can't access MLS games via TV or prefer a more flexible option, MLS Season Pass offers live streaming of MLS matches in over 100 countries worldwide.

Top news of the week in Major League Soccer

Can NYC FC turn their horrible fortunes around against a recently resurgent Columbus Crew side?

With zero wins from their last eight games (D3, L5), NYC FC are facing one of the worst runs in club history. They are dangerously close to matching an unpleasant record, which saw them go 11 sans a win between March and May 2015, and it goes without saying that they will be hoping that their home pitch advantage could give them a desperately needed boost when a recently resurgent Columbus Crew, who have won three on the trot, come to town this weekend.

Los Angeles FC's downturn in form despite impressive form of Dénis Bouanga

Although Dénis Bouanga has been setting the pitch alight with ten goals so far for Los Angeles FC, the Gabonese striker's efforts unfortunately have not been enough to revive his struggling club's fortunes. Los Angeles will come into their upcoming game against Kansas having lost five of their last six matches across all comps, which is a rather disturbing turn of events considering they had lost just three of their past 26 since September 2022. If they can't turn things around against Kansas City, they will inch closer towards setting a new club record of eight winless matches that took place between July and August 2021.
