All of Spain's 'big clubs' will play their matches on Sunday, following their mid-week activity in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage.

With only six games played in La Liga, things seem to be getting more interesting than ever. Current leaders Real Madrid have dropped four of the last six points, something that neither Barcelona nor Sevilla have benefitted from. With that in mind, La Liga will resume its action after a well-deserved resting period for some clubs.

Some teams will have new coaches on the sidelines, as Valencia fired Pako Ayestarán due to his disappointing results as their manager. Former Italy boss Cesare Prandelli will take over from this day forth. Meanwhile, Granada also parted ways with Paco Jémez after securing just two of 18 points so far.

Real Madrid, Atlético and Barcelona will play their matches on Sunday, in order to provide them sufficient rest after their UEFA Champions League matches.
