Ladies and gentlemen, meet Marouane Fellaini, the life saver.

He may not be loved by all Manchester United fans due to his hard tackles on their opponents, which sometimes earn him unnecessary bookings. But deep inside, Fellaini’s heart is filled with humanity if his heroic acts during Man Utd’s 1-0 win over Hull City on Saturday were anything to go by.

When Wayne Rooney made that brilliant solo run on the left wing to feed Marcus Rashford with a sumptuous cross that was redirected into the net, Man Utd players rushed to the stands to celebrate with the fans who had been urging them on all along. But as the fans poured into the terraces to at least catch a moment with their players, Fellaini kept pointing at a woman who was on the verge of being crushed in the melee.

A fan who witnessed the incident explained that the former Everton man then struggled his way into the crowd and picked up the helpless woman, consequently saving her from being crushed by the hundreds of overexcited fans. The tweets below will summarize the rest of the story. But for now, hats off, Big Fella!
