Chelsea's chances of reaching the top of the table may be slim, but that doesn't make them hold back and put up quite a show for their fans. Today, Guus Hiddink's men showed signs of their recovery when they managed to come from behind against Southampton.
Shane Long scored the go ahead goal for the Saints, but Cesc Fabregas cancelled it with just 15 minutes to go in the game. When time was about to run out, Branislav Ivanovic sent a well-placed header into the back of the net, giving The Blues three points that keep them fighting for the EPL's top spots.
Curiously enough, Chelsea has managed to win back-to-back games for the first time this season after today's match. Furthermore, this is the first time in which The Blues have been able to come from behind and win a game, following a couple of late draws.
Fans and experts, of course, had their say about today's victory, including praises for their hero of the day. Take a look at some of their comments below.
Ivanovic: "I didn’t actually see the ball hit the back of the net. We work as a team and hopefully the three points will prove to be big."
