Via a press release, the club revealed the steps taken in order to facilitate the Spaniard's departure to join Los Blancos yesterday, during the transfer deadline in Spain.

Manchester United keeps adding pages to the novel involving David De Gea and Real Madrid. According to the English giants, Los Blancos were responsible for not completing the deals involving the Spanish shot-stopper and Keylor Navas, who was set to join Manchester United in exchange for the Red Devils' keeper.

In a detailed ten-point statement, Manchester United revealed that Real Madrid did not establish any contact with them until yesterday's lunchtime, hours before the transfer deadline ended, and went even further by adding Los Blancos did not present any bid to sign De Gea earlier in the summer, since they had no intention of letting the shot-stopper leave.

In the document, Manchester United blamed Real Madrid's officers for sending all the documents back with major changes, putting both deals at risk. In fact, United's execs offered to help Real Madrid by handing them the necessary documents to prove that Manchester United had submitted all papers in time if they wanted to appeal FIFA's ruling about the transfer, but Real Madrid refused to go that way.
