The Red Devils have been in fine form in recent games having won all of their three pre season games including a thumping 3-1 victory over Barcelona. Wayne Rooney opened up the scoring for the English side in that much followed by a goal from Lingard. Rafinha pulled one back for the Catalans but Januzaj restored United's three goal lead with a late strike.
PSG on the other hand were against another English side Chelsea in their last encounter in a match which ended 1-1 in full time. The fixture was thus decided on penalties and Chelsea subsequently won 6-5.
The capital side have been hotly linked with Argentinean winger Angel Di Maria who is expected to seal his move to the French club. A few of the players especially Marco Verratti and David Luiz have expressed their excitement claiming that the former Real Madrid man can allow PSG to push for the Champions League title.
“There is no doubt about it that he is a great player who can increase the quality of the team,” Verratti told Goal.
“He is a good dribbler and can beat his opponent in a one-on-one. That is very important in modern football.
“I hope with Di Maria we can win the Champions League next season. This is one of our objectives in Paris but it is not easy.
“Every year at the beginning of the season we have the objective to go all the way.”
David Luiz who played with Di Maria when the duo were at Benfica is aware of the Argentinean's talents and is confident he will be a great boost to the side.
"We want to win the Champions League and of course Di Maria is a player that can help us go up another step," the Brazilian said.
"Di Maria is one of the top three wingers in the world. He's fast, technical, he plays for the team, he knows how to play as an individual, how to pass, how to score.
"Sometimes you can not have luck in one place but he is still a fantastic player. I know him from Benfica; we played with each other when we were very young."
"He will love playing in the French league just like I do. He is my friend and I love him."
