Elections are still scheduled to be held this Friday to decide the new man in charge. The bomb threat was reported during a lunch break.

During Sepp Blatter's opening statements of the 65th FIFA Congress in Zurich, the Swiss boss called for unity within the organization he has been leading for 17 years. FIFA is currently in the eye of the hurricane for a scandal involving the arrests of seven leaders earlier in the week.

"I accept that the president of Fifa is ultimately responsible for everything. I want to share this responsibility with you all, or at least with the executive committee, but we cannot permanently supervise everybody who is involved in football."

Blatter claims that the organization has grown more than anyone could have expected that has 209 members with over 300 million active participants. FIFA currently impacts the lives of 1.6 billion people around the world.

"Discipline, respect and fair play, as if we were in a stadium playing football." Blatter said. "Team spirit to resolve the problems"

Everything is set for elections to carry on

Blatter said that despite everything going on around FIFA this week, the elections should still take place as planned this Friday. His only opponent in Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein from Jordan. Blatter is looking for another 4-year-term in charge of the monster called Fifa.
