Florentino said that the next coach will be presented next week. Benitez' current team, Napoli, will end their season this weekend.

The speculation of who could be the next coach of Real Madrid began even before Florentino Perez announced that Carlo Ancelotti would not continue as the manager for Los Merengues. This Tuesday, his agent Ernesto Bronzetti talked to RAI Sport about the chances for Rafael Benitez to become the next coach of Real Madrid.

"Yes, it's 99 per-cent sure it will be him," Bronzetti said when asked if Rafa could be the next man in charge of the team.

Florentino said during Monday's press conference that the decision of who would take over for Ancelotti would be announced next week. Rafa is in his second season with Napoli, which is in fourth place of the Serie A. This weekend, they will play their last game of the season against Lazio on Sunday at the Juventus Stadium.

With his current team, Napoli, he has not won the Serie A, but last season, he guided Gonzalo Higuain and company to a Coppa Italia title. His longest tenure was with Liverpool and it laster 345 games, with Valencia he stayed for 155 matches and he will complete 112 with Napoli.
