How Cape Verde qualified for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations
In the qualifiers for the 2015 showdown, Cape Verde became the first of two nations (along with Algeria) to qualify. They did this in great style, thrashing Niger 3-1 at home and winning Group F with a match to spare. New manager José Rui Lopes Águas, who took the post in July 2014, will look to marshal his men forward and write his name in Cape Verdean football history.
