The Uruguayan striker scored the second goal for Los Blaugranas, while Lionel Messi scored another brace playing at Camp Nou.

Barcelona managed to end the first half of the season in top form, winning against Cordoba with a comfortable 5-0 score. Los Blaugranas built on Pedro's first minute strike to control the game, which presented the lowest attendance for a Barcelona game played at Camp Nou.

After the break, Luis Suarez scored his first goal with Barcelona playing in La Liga, following a great combination between Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and a good cross by Pedro. It took Suarez 565 minutes to score his first goal playing in the Spanish top-flight. Minutes later, Gerard Pique scored once again for Barcelona, setting up the stage for Messi, who managed to add two more goals to his tally. Surprisingly enough, Messi has scored ten out of his 22 goals with his right leg, just a blow to those who say he can only score with his left foot.
