This is a must win match for both Italy and Slovakia if they want to survive the group stage. For Italy, they simply need a win. Slovakia will need a bit more luck and some goals too.

GROUP F matches will be played at 10:00 AM EST / 4:30 PM Local time. Matches are played at the same time to avoid any unnatural results that may affect the outcome of the group standings and therefore minimize any favoritism that could potentially occur. It´s time to get serious as this is the last chance for either team to advance as they both will require a win to settle their nerves. This year they’ve played five matches, have drawn four and lost one – to Mexico in June. The last recorded victory dates back 8 months ago to November 2009 where they overcame a Sweden with the narrowest of margins 1-0.
