Manchester United are reportedly preparing to table a bid for Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer. The England international has struggled to get playtime with the Gunners since his arrival at the Emirates from Southampton back in 2011.
According to ESPN, a source close to the player has revealed that the Red Devils are closely monitoring the 22-year-old, and would be willing to make a move ahead of the new season. 
Chamberlain joined the North Londoners from the Saints for £15 million and Arsene Wenger is reportedly willing to listen to offers for the speedy star.
Other reports have also linked him with a move to join Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, West Ham and most recently his former club Southampton.
Meanwhile, the Old Trafford outfit is said to be closing in on Renato Sanches’ signature.
The Benfica wonder-kid could join the 20-time Premier League champions for £46 million this summer, with reports suggesting that the English club has already approved the deal after monitoring the Portuguese for close to four months. The Guardian reports that club legendary tactician Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly approved the move for the 18-year-old, who is also said to be a target for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid.
