Niko Kovac will face his first Der Klassiker on Saturday, but he will not be able to do so with a full squad to choose from.
Bayern's season has been filled with injuries, with Kingsley Coman, Corentin Tolisso and Thiago Alcántara already ruled out for Saturday's clash. Hours after today's practice, Kovac was handed one more injury blow, as the team's medical staff confirmed that Arjen Robben will not play due to a knee problem. In fact, the Dutch ace is not going to be anywhere near the stadium.

Kovac had his doubts on Robben's availability, but his fears were confirmed later by the team's staff. Speaking about the game, the former Croatia boss admitted that his team will have to work overtime to keep their chances alive.
"It's pretty clear that they are the favorites to win tomorrow. We are the ones who have to chase them. We have to work our best to cut the gap short, because seven points would be a massive difference to overcome. If we win, we'll stay one point behind them, that's not a big difference," Kovac said.
Bayern enters this game in third place of the Bundesliga, having lost two out of their last five games. If Die Roten lose on Saturday, the coach's relationship with the players and pressure from the media might see him getting the boot. Will he survive this trip to Dortmund? Watch this game and find out!
