The Frenchman, who scored the decisive goal to secure the Nerazzurri the title in the Milan Derby, thanked the Bleus icon during his post-match interview.

Inter Milan striker Marcus Thuram issued a special message to one of the most beloved players in Premier League history after leading his Italian club to an iconic Serie A title win. That man is none other than Thierry Henry, the Arsenal legend regarded by many as the greatest attacker to have graced the English top flight.

The Nerazzurri forward helped his side secure the Scudetto on Monday in the Milan Derby, a feat that has never been achieved before, as his goal and Acerbi's 19th-minute opener earned Inzaghi's side a 2-1 victory over the Rossoneri.

Thuram, who has been one of the signings of the season after joining as a free agent from Borussia M'gadbach, thus lifted only the second trophy in his senior professional career and was understandably overtaken by joy after the final whistle.

The forward made sure to first thank his parents when interviewed by CBS Sports, the exclusive Serie A rights holders that stream all the games live in the USA via Paramount+. The 26-year-old then issued a special message to Henry, whom he thanked tremendously for mentoring him behind the scenes.

Marcus joked with the reporter, labeling the French icon "his best uncle" for all the advice Thierry has given him. Check out the Inter Milan's striker's post-match message in the clip below.

Thuram, who is the son of French legend Lilian Thuram, has been impressive since arriving at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, scoring 12 goals in Serie A so far, with only Lautaro Martinez (23) outsourcing the Frenchman in a Nerrazzuri shirt.

Lilian Thuram and Thierry Henry played together for the French national team and were both key figures during Les Bleus' 1998 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2000 wins.
