Just when Barcelona fans were starting to believe in the team's chances to bounce back in their tie against PSG, the team has been handed a massive injury blow that has potentially ended those chances.
The Blaugrana side, who are still celebrating their comeback win over Sevilla to reach the Copa del Rey final, will have to fight Les Parisiens next week without one of their moral leaders. That man is none other than Gerard Piqué, the hero for Koeman's side in Wednesday' game.
The center back scored the goal that sent the match to extra time, which was enough reason to make fans go ecstatic. Nevertheless, the bad news came later for Piqué, as he picked up an injury to his right knee that caused him to limp off the pitch after the game concluded. In fact, Piqué and the team's coaches decided to keep him on despite still having a substitution to make, which some believe could have worsened the player's physical problem.
While the team did not reveal the amount of time he will be unavailable, it is safe to say that Piqué will not be around to face PSG, considering that the team's press release admitted that he will not be cleared to play in the near future.

As things stand, Piqué will also be unavailable for Barcelona's trip to Osasuna this weekend, along with the aforementioned clash against PSG.
