This time, Brazilian club Santos is demanding a millionaire payment from the Catalan outfit.

Barcelona keeps on facing problems wherever they look. Their week began with the alleged hiring of a company to smear Josep María Bartomeu's rivals, while also including members of the team such as Lionel Messi or Gerard Piqué.

Now, Brazilian club Santos has filed a lawsuit against the Blaugrana side for not complying with one of the clauses included in Neymar's contract. Barcelona's failure to materialize that clause has caused Santos to demand a $4.86M payment from the Spanish side.

The aforementioned clause urged Barcelona to play a couple of friendly games against Santos. The first one of those saw the white team face Barcelona in the Joan Gamper trophy back in 2013. The second game, which was supposed to take place in Brazil, never happened.

Santos reportedly gave Barcelona five days to reply to this claim, or they would exercise legal action against the Catalan club. Since there was no reply from Barcelona's legal department, the Brazilian side has already started legal dealings on this matter, which include sending Barcelona the bill for that match that never happened.
