The Frenchman reportedly still seeks an Old Trafford exit and might just get his wish.

Despite having fended off interest from Real Madrid over the summer, Man United have reportedly made a U-turn on their Paul Pogba stance. According to the Daily Mail, the Premier League giants will open the door for his exit.

With his contract set to expire in 18 months, the Frenchman is believed to still favor an exit. The Red Devils have the option to extend his deal by a further year but will open the door for his transfer by signing two midfielders before next season.

The World Cup winner has turned down the club’s attempts to negotiate a new contract over the summer and while Solskjaer and Co. insist he is not for sale, the club are plotting to add two new additions to the middle of the park to pave way for his departure.

As for his likely destination should he secure a transfer, Real Madrid will be the favorites. Barcelona are another club mention in the Daily Mail article.

As for who the 20-time Premier League champions are eyeing, two names have been mentioned. One is Atletico Madrid ace Saul, who might be tempted with a move away from Los Rojiblancos. The other is Ajax’s Donny van de Beek, a player whom Los Blancos targeted after it became clear they would miss out on Pogba last summer.
