The Belgian shot-stopper seemed to have more to do to avoid Les Parisiens' opening goal against Los Blancos.

Zinedine Zidane may have not made the best choice when he decided to keep Thibaut Courtois instead of Keylor Navas as his first-choice goalkeeper this season.

The Belgian shot-stopper was once again slammed on social media by fans and experts, as some believe that he had much to do with the first goal scored by Les Parisiens.

A swift move by PSG's attack saw Juan Bernat crossing the ball into the box, where Angel Di María drilled it past Thibaut Courtois. According to most fans and experts, Courtois' failure to cover his near post was the main reason for that goal. (Image could be geo-restricted).

Later in the evening, Di María scored another left-footed shot to increase PSG's lead, but fans were not as abusive against Courtois as with the first goal scored by the Argentine. With Los Blancos down two-nil, fans did not waste any time to voice their thoughts on Courtois. Here are some of their comments regarding the footballer.
