Aritz Aduriz had entered the game seconds before he scored the game-winning goal for Los Leones, in what will be his final home game against Barcelona.

Barcelona fans witnessed one of the best goals ever scored in the first game of any La Liga season. Unfortunately for them, they were on the receiving end...

38-year-old Aritz Aduriz took Barcelona's defense to school with an impressive bicycle kick, which gave Athletic Club their first three points of the 2019-20 campaign. Aduriz had revealed before this game that this will be his final season as a professional, and he surely found a way to kick it off with a bang.

Aduriz hit the back of the net with his only shot on goal during the clash. Athletic dominated that department throughout the game, since Barcelona managed to get only two of those during the first 90 minutes of the season.

Added to that, Aduriz joined Lionel Messi as the only players in history to score in 15 consecutive La Liga seasons, as per Opta.

This is not the start of the season Barcelona had hoped for. Los Culés had not been on the losing end of their first La Liga match of the season since 2008, when they were defeated by Numancia.
