The Frenchman gave his thoughts on whether he would be playing alongside the Brazilian at Camp Nou.

Despite signing Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona continued to be linked with PSG superstar Neymar. Everything from the club taking out a loan to offering the Ligue 1 champions two star players have been suggested, but according to their recent acquisition, this deal won't happen easily.

The former Atletico Madrid ace opened up about the Catalan giants' prospects of resigning the Brazilian. Many feel that Griezmann's Camp Nou arrival depleted the Blaugrana of the funds required to bring back the Selecao ace but the World Cup winner did not touch on that topic.

Instead, the 27-year-old welcomed the idea of playing alongside the former Santos sensation. Unfortunately, he is of the school of thought that believes this deal might just be too difficult to pull off despite both the player and the club wanting a reunion.

The Frenchman also spoke of the importance of the other attackers at Barcelona, telling Sky Sports: “We have to get it done first because it is a difficult transfer, but he is a great player.

“He’s had a couple of injuries but he’s at an incredible level.

“We also have [Ousmane] Dembele, [Philippe] Coutinho and Malcom, who are also important players for us, so let’s hope we can achieve great things with them.”

PSG are willing to let Neymar go despite breaking the world record transfer to bring him to Parc des Princes. The club announced that they would negotiate a transfer but only for the right price.

The relationship appears to be at a point of no return, but an exit is not that straight-forward, as Les Parisiens' high asking price and the attacker's astronomical wages complicate matters. Nonetheless, expect the rumors linking him with the Spanish Primera Division champions to continue lingering.
