The Norwegian striker achieved an incredible milestone with her goals in the European cup final.

16 minutes and 12 seconds. That is how long it took Ada Hegerberg to net a sensational first half hat trick for Olympique Lyon Feminin in its UEFA Women's Champions League Final clash with Barcelona.

What was dubbed as a potential close contest ended up becoming a one-woman show with the first female Ballon d'Or winner etching her name in the history of the European competition. The Norwegian forward's side set the ball rolling under just five minutes after Germany's Dzsenifer Marozsan turned home a cross from the right by Shanice Van de Sanden.

Nine minutes later, Hegerberg was called into action for her first goal of the day, simply tapping home another low cross from Shanice Van de Sanden on the right. In the 20th minute, the 23-year-old increased her tally to two by hitting a shot inside the penalty area and completed her hat trick 10 minutes later by tucking in first time a cross from England's Lucy Bronze.

The three goals for Ada Hegerberg made her the first-ever player in the history of the UEFA Women's Champions League to score a first-half hat trick. The Lyon striker also became only the second player after legendary Real Madrid striker Ferenc Puskas to score a UEFA Champions League final hat trick in the first half.

The latter did so in the 1962 final in an encounter in which Los Blancos lost 4-3 to Benfica.
