Even if the French boss congratulated Barcelona for their inminent title, he remembered Los Blaugranas still have some catching up to do.

Barcelona's dominance in La Liga is well-known around the world, but according to Zinedine Zidane, it has to stop.

Speaking in the pre-match presser for the game between Getafe and Los Blancos, Zizou did not hesitate in congratulating Los Blaugranas for their inminent title, while also stating that La Liga will be a top priority for his team next year.

"I can tell you that next year we will try to start La Liga in the best way possible. It is a day-by-day competition, you have to do a good job in preparing for it since the pre-season. We have to do so because we can't afford to drop points in the earlier stages, or we will have a difficult time bouncing back. La Liga must be our main goal next season,"Zidane said.

The French boss admitted that Barcelona needed to be praised for their 26th La Liga title (which could be confirmed today), but he remembered that Barcelona is not the most winning team in La Liga yet.

"We have won 33 La Liga titles. How many does Barcelona have? They have done a great job lately, we have to admit it and congratulate them for it, but if you're speaking about numbers, Real Madrid has more league titles. We have to change that dynamic. The most important thing for me is to do a task day by day. La Liga is truly important for us, without downplaying the rest of the competitions, and next year, we can't let it slip away easily," Zidane added.

The boss revealed that Thibaut Courtois will be available to play on Thursday, while Vinicius will have to wait a bit more to return to the pitch.
