Top spot in Group E is up for grabs as Chelsea travel to face Sevilla on MD 5. Live Soccer TV's match preview provides international broadcast listings, team news, and key match stats for Sevilla vs Chelsea.

Preview: Sevilla vs Chelsea

With qualification into the round of 16 already sealed, Sevilla and Chelsea will be battling for top spot in their quartet - which would give them a better draw for the knockout rounds - when they square off on Wednesday evening. Both teams are level on ten points after winning their last three games, but it's the Blues who sit ahead thanks to their superior goal difference, and as things stand, Chelsea will finish top of their group for the first time in five seasons.

The prior meeting between the two sides finished as a scoreless stalemate at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea will come into this match having drawn with Tottenham in last weekend's highly anticipated derby, which ended a six-game winning streak across all comps for Frank Lampard's side. That being said, the Blues are still unbeaten in their last 11 games since losing on spot-kicks to Tottenham in the League Cup at the end of September.

Chelsea are also unbeaten in their last nine group stage competitions, with wins in six of those. However, the London giants have hit a bit of a stumbling block when it comes to facing Spanish outfits - they have won just one of their last ten, and worryingly, have failed to win their last six since beating Atletico Madrid three years ago.

By contrast, their upcoming hosts Sevilla are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with English teams, and although they have established themselves as Europa League specialists, Julen Lopetegui's side will be looking to make it five matches sans defeat in the continent's premier competition for the first time in club history.

Team news: Sevilla vs Chelsea

Sevilla: Marcos Acuna and Suso are both out injured, while Carlos Fernandez and Bono tested positive for COVID-19. Meanwhile, Lopetegui will hope that Luuk de Jong and Lucas Ocampos will be fit to feature after missing training on Tuesday afternoon.

Chelsea: English youngster Billy Gilmour remains Chelsea's only definite absentee. Lampard is expected to rotate his team slightly, thus giving Callum Hudson-Odoi a potential start after he was excluded during the team's draw with Tottenham. In addition, both Christian Pulisic and Kai Havertz could return to the starting XI after both came on as late subs against Spurs last weekend.
