After a slow start, PSG will now look to continue working their way up the table as they travel to face struggling Reims on Sunday, September 27.

Preview: Reims vs PSG

After a rocky start to the current campaign, during which they not only lost their opening two matches but also failed to score, PSG have now seemingly righted the wobbly ship. Thomas Tuchel's men have won their last couple of ties and will be looking to make it three on the trot at the expense of Reims, who sit in the penultimate spot in the table and have yet to win a match thus far this season.

Since earning a two-all draw against Monaco on matchday one, Reims have lost their last three games. What's concerning is that they were actually leading against Les Rouges et Blancs and ended up barely hanging on for a point. Last season, they finished in sixth spot, thus qualifying them for the play-off rounds of this season's Europa League, but now will not have a chance to progress to the group stages after falling on penalties to Eastern European outfit Fehérvár following a scoreless stalemate.

Despite this, the hosts have done well in recent contests with Les Parisiens, with wins in their last two Ligue 1 games. That being said, the visitors will be welcoming key man Neymar back from suspension, while Angel Di Maria will be eligible to play here as his suspension doesn't start until the next round. In addition, Kylian Mbappe has recovered from COVID-19 and netted in the team's recent victory over Nice, so the World Cup winner will definitely be in the starting XI in a very potent attack.

Team news: Reims vs PSG

Reims: Both Wout Faes and Marshall Muntesi are suspended, while defender Moussa Doumbia is a major doubt due to a sholuder injury.

PSG: Angel Di Maria is now the latest to join the list of players who are banned after being slapped with a four game suspension following his team's loss to Marseille, but will get to feature here as his ban doesn't start until the next round. However, although Layvin Kurzawa is still suspended, his colleagues Abdou Diallo, Leandro Paredes, and Neymar will all make their returns during this match. Meanwhile, Juan Bernat and Thilo Kehrer are still battling their way back to full fitness following injuries.
