Manchester City and Chelsea delivered the blockbuster title race match it promised to be with a side of perfection in Beth England’s 30-yard rocket.

Bethany England is having a party. In fact, the party has been going on for a while now having scored in every league game since a 6-0 win over Birmingham City in November 2019. The English forward scored 12 goals throughout nine matches and she is not showing signs of stopping. The 25-year-old is now tied at 14 goals with Arsenal's Vivianne Miedema for the FA WSL's Golden Boot race.

Chelsea’s #9 delivered one of the most impressive goals of the season against England’s potential starting goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck in Sunday’s match. Brace yourself.

The turn, the look, the contact, and the shot amassed into a moment of brilliance. England gave Chelsea a 3-2 lead with that strike in the 74th minute. However, Lauren Hemp’s equalizer marked the last goal of the meeting just two minutes after.

Manchester City’s reverse fixture against Chelsea was said to be the most important game for both teams amidst this tight three-club title race. And it surely lived up to expectation becoming a six-goal thriller ending in a draw. But a draw was not what both sides were looking for.

Arsenal, on the other hand, probably celebrated the result like a win of their own. After losing two of its last their last three league matches – against Chelsea and Man City – the Gunners found themselves in third and three points behind first-place Manchester City. Now, they are four points behind the leaders with a game in hand and three points behind Chelsea, which also has a game in hand.

There is no room for mistakes for any of these three sides from this point on. A draw or loss can have devastating consequences. But please, keep these screamers coming!
