Anthony Martial salvaged the draw for the Red Devils after Emmanuel Dennis' opener for the Belgian side.

Manchester United walked out of Jan Breydel Stadium with a draw, but fans believe that some things could have been done to walk away with the win ahead of next week's return leg.

The game kicked off and the hosts made the most out of their home-field advantage, which wa transformed into a one-goal lead thanks to Emmanuel Dennis' goal. Then, Anthony Martial leveled the game before the halftime break.

Nevertheless, fans slammed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's selection, and they chose to pin most of the blame on Jesse Lingard, who had a subpar performance, according to most of the team's supporters and experts.

The midfielder completed the game with only two tackles and an pass success rate of 87%, which may not seem as bad as it looks. But when you consider that opposing goalkeeper Simon Mignolet completed 82% of his passes, Lingard's numbers don't seem to be as impressive.

Fans understood that his contribution to the team was not what they expected, and some of them demanded Solskjaer to stop giving him the chance to play.

Here are some of the comments aimed at Lingard.
