Die BVB is readying a new deal for its star forward.

Bundesliga heavyweight Borussia Dortmund is set to offer Manchester United transfer target Jadon Sancho a new lucrative contract extension. The Signal Iduna Park outfit is prepared to double the wages of the English sensation in a bid to ward off interest from a host of top European clubs.

Sancho has risen to prominence and has become an integral member of the Die BVB since moving from Manchester City to the German club for just 6 million euros in 2017. Last season, the teenager impressed once more by scoring 13 goals and registering 19 assists in 43 appearances.

He has caught the eyes of a host of top European clubs with his performances and reports in recent years claim that Manchester United could be making a move for the starlet in no time. The case was the same prior to the closure of the transfer window in England this summer but the Red Devils could not pursue the former City prodigy due to their absence in this season's UEFA Champions League, among other factors.

According to German publication Bild, Dortmund is aiming to complicate matters even more for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side by handing the England international a contract extension in the coming months. Back in October, the German outfit increased the winger's wages to £40,000-a-week but failed to extend the 2022 expiration date of his initial deal.

As per Bild, the club is now set to double Sancho's take home salary while extending his stay at Signal Iduna Park in the process. Over the weekend, the 19-year-old prospect began his campaign this season by grabbing a goal and an assist in the 5-1 thrashing of Augsburg.
