And it's down to one reason.

Many at Barcelona desire to see Neymar back at Camp Nou, but according to the latest rumors, the odds of the Brazilian reuniting with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have diminished.

This has everything to do with the exit of Philippe Coutinho. The Brazilian, who endured a tough campaign last season, has agreed a loan move to Bayern Munich, with L'Equipe claiming (as per AS) that this transfer has hampered the Blaugrana's chances of resigning the Selecao superstar.

It's no secret that the Spanish Primera Division champions have made a player-plus-cash offer for the world's most expensive player. The French publication state that the Coutinho was one of the players PSG wanted but his move to the Bundesliga means he is no longer on the table.

And with the transfer deadline day drawing closer, time is not on Barcelona's side. Despite signing Antoine Griezmann, interest in Neymar still lingers. The chemistry he enjoyed with Messi and Suarez has not been forgotten.

Speaking in a recent conference, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel hinted that the former Santos sensation might in fact remain in the French capital. He admitted that should a solution failed to be found, the Brazilian will stay at Parc des Princes.

"There isn't a solution right now, but our relationship is the same because it's a thing between him and the club," the Parisiens boss said (as per Marca).

"If there's no solution then he'll stay with us. He has three years on his contract."

Real Madrid have also been linked with Neymar, but some outlets report that they are not in the picture. This could thus mean another year in Ligue 1 for the former Liga star.
